To Train them : Deuteronomy 8:2-5:  Remember how the LORD your God led you through the wilderness for forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether or not you would really obey his commands. ³ Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people need more than bread for their life; real life comes by feeding on every word of the LORD. ⁴ For all these forty years your clothes didn't wear out, and your feet didn't blister or swell. ⁵ So you should realize that just as a parent disciplines a child, the LORD your God disciplines you to help you.

To Set them apart:Number 23:9:  I see them from the cliff tops; I watch them from the hills. I see a people who live by themselves, set apart from other nations.

To Send them out: As a “ light” Isaiah 49:6: He says, "You will do more than restore the people of Israel to me. I will make you a light to the Gentiles, and you will bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."Ex of moon and sun: He is a sun we are a moon, to be under his light we reflect His light

With  missions of:propagating God’s culture in the nations| Deuteronomy 4:6:  If you obey them carefully, you will display your wisdom and intelligence to the surrounding nations. When they hear about these laws, they will exclaim, `What other nation is as wise and prudent as this!'

Building a nation whose God is Lord| Ps 33:12:  Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

Building a nation that hears the voice of God : Deuteronomy: 4: 33.  Has any nation ever heard the voice of God speaking from fire—as you did—and survived?
