Rwanda is a landlocked country; to the north lays the country of Uganda, Tanzania to the east, and Burundi to the south and the Democratic Republic of Congo to the west. Rwanda is also well known the world over as 'the land of a thousand hills".
The historians say Rwanda originated as a small village (Rwanda rwa Gasabo) of a well organized people with their own set up government and army. This allowed her conquering and influencing the neighboring hills to the present Rwanda and beyond. During the Berlin conference of 1885, when the partition of Africa was put in place, the country of Rwanda was now confined to its present borders. This explains partly why we do have people who speak Kinya-rwanda all along our borders in our neighboring countries.
Rwanda is a unique country, one of the few countries in the world where a people share the same language, culture, belief and although their ways of prayer are different, they all believe in one God.
Rwanda today stands as one of the poorest nations of the world, with high mortality rate, low per capital income and a relatively high population, orphans, widows, widowers, poverty and a high population; the aftermath of genocide.
Rwanda is a very religious nation with 85 -90 per cent churchgoing Christians. Majority of her population are farmers with traditional methods of farming. The illiteracy rate is also high!
The Almighty God, The God of Israel, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has talked to many people regarding this small country of Rwanda. Prophets from Europe, Asia, the South Sea Islands and those in Africa have talked about the promises that God has for Rwanda, and this is what the Lord our God says about her:
God calls all Rwandans the strong and the weak, tall and short, to know, obey and adore him. He says it is better to obey him than any sacrifices we may make. God wants Rwandans to obey him and to submit totally to Him. And this submission of Rwandans to God is Rwanda's only hope.
God promises big things. God promises that He shall use Rwandans as his missionaries; Rwandese women shall be prophetesses, young Rwandans will be everywhere on the globe proclaiming the word of God, and the good news of the Gospel.
God will use Rwandan men in helping to finance God's work all over the world. They will be rich; they will be very rich because God will bless them with wealth so that they can finance God's work. It is now up to you Rwandans, young people, women, and men to take up this promise.
Economically
God has promised that despite the misery and drought, God remains compassionate towards us. God will raise from this land hidden treasures, precious stones. He will put in the valleys, the mountains, in streams, gold, precious stones and other treasures that we have not known in this country.
Agriculture and farming
God promises that He will be gracious to us, especially to the institution of the Church, in helping Rwandans practice modern agriculture. People will cultivate and farm in the whole country. The country will satisfy its needs. This is the prophetic message on the economy of Rwanda.
Social Aspect
God promises marvelous things. The country which was divided will be united. There will be fraternal love, we shall be brothers and sisters, many people will come from all parts of the world, to ask what is the secret of their success, good luck, and the secret of the discovery of peace.
Rwanda will be invited in conferences in the whole world in big conferences to participate, facilitate and help talk about peace. And if possible bring peace in countries where it is not.
Rwanda will be solace for the persecuted, and people who will have been maltreated in their own countries. Like is said in the book of Zachariah 8:23, this promise shall be accomplished in our country. "This is what the God almighty says: "in those days' ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew (Rwandan) by the hem of his robe and say, 'let is go with you because we have heard that God is with you'."
It is with no doubt that God words shall be fulfilled to the last. May people will wish to be Rwandans. Our young daughters and sons shall be proud of being Rwandans. And many men shall wish to be Rwandans. They will marry Rwandan women so that they may become eligible to Rwandese nationality. Being Rwandan will be of high value in future.
Rwandan Scientists, engineers, professors, artists and intellectuals will be sought after to lecture in foreign institutions of higher learning and international forums and conferences around the world because of their exceptional achievements in Science, Technology, Literature and the Arts.
This prophecy is true. It was confirmed by many people especially prophets from Europe, Asia, the South Sea Islands and Africa. For these promises to be fulfilled, there will be a price to pay.
People will have to make a choice whether to believe it or not. What we know is that one day all this will be accomplished because God never lies.
Have you read in the book of Numbers 23:19? It is written "God is not human to lie, nor is He son of man that he should change his mind; will He not do what He said? What He declares will He not execute it?"
What God says He confirms it and reconfirms it because He is a God of promises.
The price to pay is for all Rwandans. And what is the price?
In the book of Isaiah 40: 1-5, it reads "Comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her service has been completed, that her hard service has been completed, that her sins has been paid for , that she has received from the Lord's hands double for all her sins. A voice of one calling: in the desert prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raise up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." (Whose voice is that? It is the voice of the Most High for Rwanda).
God speaks, He asks us to prepare the way. How do we prepare the way? What breaks the way? (What is our stumbling block)?
There are huge blocks that stop the true glory of God to penetrate our nation. In the hearts of people, there is agony, lies, idol worship, corruption, people are in despair, AIDS etc..; though our country is suffering, there is hope: a voice of God which talk to us and tell us how we shall at one time forget all this. It is written: "Come all you who are weary and burdened, I will give you rest".
Come to Jesus; give him all your problems, your everyday sorrows, the fears of tomorrow. Jesus knows our tribulations, persecutions and sicknesses.
Despite the seriousness of your illness, the bounty of God will satisfy, the grace of God is sufficient for you. He asks us to make smooth our paths in the desert. But how do we do this? Somewhere in Isaiah 43:18-19 it is written "Do not think of the past and do not consider what is long gone (We need to forget the past in order to get to the future). (If you do this) He says, I will do this, for you I will do something new…. I will put a way in the desert and I will put rivers in solitude" These are the words of God.
Dear brethren, we shall receive God's Glory if we respect him. You also shall receive this glory if you give to Jesus your burdens. Let us pay the price of obedience. Let us obey our God. And he shall grant to us the wishes of our hearts. If you wish to pay the price now, at this moment, wherever you are, I ask you to give yourself, repent, open your mouth and pray with me.
Lord Jesus, I put my spirit, my soul, my all in your Holy arms |I know I have a lot in me that stop me from reaching out for your Glory. I know I am sinner and I repent. I confess my sins, forgive me. I accept you as my personal savior and Lord in my heart; I give you the first place in my life. I request your blood to wash me, purify my thoughts, my heart, and my soul. I give you my life. I give unto you my whole being, I want to obey you today and forever.
All this, in Jesus name. Amen
